These finger puppets are handcrafted by single mothers from Andean communities. Each puppet is meticulously knitted/crochet by hand, then finished with hand-embroidery for the face and other details. Our team works from home where they can simultaneously care for their children. Each puppet is one-of-a-kind. 

The Wuaman company is a Fair Trade Certified Manufacturer, they provide long term employment for their community in Peru and they do not pollute our environment. They are responsible for the quality and authenticity of the natural fibers, and the craftsmanship.
